Our neighborhood, in motion. Explore up to 40 potentially hazardous asteroids and 30 other near-Earth asteroids in a Sun-centered view, beginning at Earth.
Drag to orbit · Focus the view to scroll-zoom · Arrow keys rotate · + / − zoom · Select a marker or use the object menu. Marker sizes and track widths are exaggerated; positions use a linear AU scale.

Context before
conclusions.
PHAs are a subset of near-Earth asteroids. The additional NEA tracks exclude PHAs, so every displayed object is unique. The nearest eligible objects are selected from the loaded JPL catalogue by estimated Earth distance when you refresh; changing time keeps this selection fixed.
Earth uses interpolated JPL Horizons vectors. Asteroid tracks are two-body estimates propagated from JPL SBDB orbital elements, not precision Horizons trajectories. Planetary perturbations and orbital uncertainty are not modeled. Close encounters can make these estimates inaccurate. This visualization is for exploration, not navigation or impact forecasting.
Impact probabilities are not calculated here. Consult NASA/JPL Sentry ↗ and ESA’s risk list ↗ for authoritative monitoring.
